Pendampingan Legal Drafting Peraturan Desa Tangguh Bencana: Penguatan Regulasi Mitigasi di Dusun Merpuji, Dasan Geria, Kecamatan Lingsar, Kabupaten Lombok Barat
Abstract
Merpuji Hamlet, situated in Dasan Geria Village within the Lingsar District of West Lombok Regency, is an area particularly vulnerable to natural disasters, including landslides, floods, and residential fires. Despite this high risk, the village has established a Village Regulation (Perdes) aimed at creating Disaster Resilient Villages, serving as a formal instrument for disaster risk reduction (DRR).
This community service program seeks to provide technical guidance (BIMTEK) to the village government and related institutions in crafting the Disaster Resilient Village Regulation. The methods employed in this initiative include the socialisation of disaster regulations, an analysis of local legal needs, the drafting of Perdes, and support for public consultations.
The results of this program indicate an improvement in the capacity of village officials to understand the legal framework necessary for establishing legislation. It has also facilitated the preparation of the draft Perdes for Disaster Resilient Villages and encouraged increased community participation in DRR policy planning. This initiative is expected to serve as a model for the development of community-based disaster regulations throughout West Lombok Regency.
